TV Channel “Russia” 2010

The beginning of the year 2010 was marked for TV Channel “Russia” with the unprecedented growth of activity both in the East and the West. The main project of 2010 – “Kandahar” feature film is the most popular product. At the moment TV Channel “Russia” is holding negotiations about the “Kandahar” film distribution by major companies of Europe and Asia. We’ve already reached an agreement on the TV-premiere in France with the biggest commercial channel Canal Plus. At the moment TV Channel “Russia” is holding negotiations with Germany, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Swiss, China, and Japan about cinema premiere of the film. Meanwhile the cinema premiere of the feature film “Back in Time” is going to take place in China in 2010. China Film Group acts as a cinema distributor. It’s worth mentioning that the feature film “Back in Time” will appear for the first time in Blue-Ray format in China. German, Austrian and Swiss video market will present feature films “Day D” and “S.S.D.”, which are exclusively distributed by TV Channel “Russia”. The films are dubbed in German. Documentaries by TV Channel “Russia” are a success as usual. Polish branch of Discovery Communications Europe (TV Channel Discovery Historia) will start a series of historical documentaries in March 2010. TV Channel “Russia” is holding negotiations on the extension of cooperation; we are planning documentaries broadcast on other territories as well. For the first time documentaries by TV Channel Russia are about to be broadcasted on the state channel of Islamic Republic of Iran. The amount of documentaries on DVD is increasing as well. A line of documentaries on DVD is on sale in Germany, Austria, and Swiss. We plan to extend the release to the territories of Holland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. The eastern European companies (in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia) were much interested in the new television projects by TV Channel “Russia”. Slovak state channel (STV) is planning a premier broadcast of a well-known spy series, the masterpiece of soviet cinematography, “Seventeen moments of spring” IN COLOUR in spring of 2010 to celebrate the 65th Victory in WWII. The DVD release of the series is planned as well in a number of countries: Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The premier of our feature films “Back in Time”, “Gamblers”, “Kiss of a Butterfly”, “Day D”, “The Last Mineshaft”, “Big Love”, “Three “diamonds in the rough”, “Fathers and Sons” will take place in Poland on the TV-channels of ITI Group Inc. A new successful telenovela “Taiga Mistress” started on TV Channel “Russia” in February 2010. Almost at once the broadcast of this telenovela will happen in Ukraine (TRK Ukraine) and Israel (Channel 9). Makedonia, Greece and Bulgaria are still holding negotiations on telenovela broadcasting.
