Documentary boom in Czech Republic

Commercial news channel “Z1” will broadcast prime time (20:00) a line-up of Russian documentaries from TV Channel “Russia” catalogue: “Battle over the ocean”, “K-19. Not the Hollywood version”, “Superfortress the Russian way”, “The Battle for the Supersonic Jet. The Truth about the Tu-144”, “Sons of Ìàî and Chan Kaishi. Russian children”, “Dance with Death”, “To kill Hitler”, “Weapons of Russia. Tanks of Victory”, “The Secret of the Vilnius Ghetto”, “Mannerheim’s line”, “Alexey Kandulukov. A National Car”.

The broadcast of the documentaries is planned for Christmas holidays.



Z1 – is a digital TV-channel, broadcasting via cable, satellite and IPTV (DVB-T; DVB-S; DVB-C; IPTV). It is the first Czech commercial channel of 24-hours information service, equal to CNN, CNB, Fox News, Sky News UK, German N24 and Russian Vesti-24.
